Windows for the world

yey, its a holiday... i know, its like a holiday for me everyday... but everyone is in a festive mood. The front desk staff is dressed up in stars and stripes !

Unscripted question for the day: Pella, Iowa, information from one the housekeepers from Iowa.

Pella Windows: She was so surprised I didnt know what they were.
"Pella Corporation is a privately-held window and door manufacturing company with manufacturing operations across the United States, whose products for residential and commercial construction are sold across North America and in other select countries. The company was founded in 1925. The company created and patented the Rolscreen insect window screen that rolls out of sight when not in use.[2]The company changed its name to Pella Corporation in 1992. It remains headquartered in Pella, Iowa.:"

The owners and the people in Pella are from Holland.. so naturally they have tulip festival every june:

"Pella, Iowa's Tulip Time festival, also celebrated in early May, began in 1935 in celebration of the town's heritage. It is a three day event that features street washing parades, costumed wooden shoe dancers, wooden shoe carving demonstrations, street vendors selling poffertjes and an antique Dutch street organ."
